About the Wine Poste

The Wine Poste is not your everyday wine shop and online wine vendor.   We value wines with character and finesse.  Our wine shop and wine bar is located in the Bishop Arts District in Oak Cliff, just south of downtown Dallas, Texas in a beautifully redeveloped turn of the century Alsatian inspired 2 story building.

You can buy wine with confidence when shopping at the Wine Poste.  Our wines are kept in our temperature controlled shop, pulled specifically for your order, and shipped with care.   We want you to enjoy your wine purchase with certainty that it will always be handled with the utmost care and respect that it deserves.

Additionally, our wine bar, Bar Anatomie, was designed with an attention to detail that embodies everything that we have grown to love about the wine and food lifestyle.  We hand made many of the details within the wine shop and wine bar – From the wine bottle chandeliers, the hand painted mural, to the custom made wooden tables and shelving, we took a detailed and unique approach to our design.

We are wine geeks and wine lovers at heart, and that fact shows in everything that we do.  We choose wines that are handpicked by our team for their outstanding value and hard to find qualities, and never skimp on quality wines for our events or our shelves.  In addition to online and onsite wine sales we offer many wine tasting and wine pairing events in addition to – winemaker dinners, catered events, etc.

Please browse our website to learn more about our online wine program, our wine clubs, weekly wine events, and wine tastings.  Please do not hesitate to ask for help – We are here to help make your time on our site a pleasurable experience and, most of all, we are here to ensure that you enjoy your favorite bottles of wine along with new and fun exciting offerings each and every time you shop with us.  Please reach out to us if you are seeking a bottle that is not listed on the site.  We love learning about new wines and enjoy bringing new wines in to our shop, so don’t be shy.  We want you to learn about the Wine Poste, so please make it a point to come by and meet us in person!
